 Task 1

We observed classroom contex for this week. there are negative and positive factors in a language classroom.
for this week we paid attention to the classroom, the activities, the teacher and the students which might hinder and help effective learning in the language classroom.Tthere are lots of negative factors as many as positive factors.
First of all the classroom is full of pictures and there are colourful charts on the wall. On the other side the classroom is so crowded. The teacher had diffuculty to make them hear her voice. Always she speaks loudly.
Activities are suitable for their level but all activities are from the book. They aren't enough to understand the subject for them.she doesn't use different activities or materials except from the book. That activities are mainly mechanic. The students repeat what she says. Some times she makes ask and answer activity. But she should bring some different activities like puppet, ball, song, game or video with her.
she always tries to use her voice according to activities. Sometimes she speaks loudly, sometimes slowly. she is careful about fluency and accuracy. When the students pronounce the word uncorrectly, she helps them. Her pronunce is also good.
As the class is so big and crowded she has a diffuculty controlling them. While she is writing something on the board, students at the back talk to each other. While one side of the class is engaging the activity, the other side is engaging different things.
As a positive factor, the students are willingness to participate into the activities. they want to answer or say something. they are active and energetic. As a negative factor, they stand up and wander around the class. they say something to their friends.
finally the teacher should be aware of these factors and be careful. she should try to prevent to happen the negative factors in the classroom.

 Task 2

The activities that  are used in the class that we have observed is not enough for young learners. The teacher tries to do more activities in the class but students are really active and she have difficulty in controlling them.Students sometimes are eager to participate to the activities but not all of them.

Mostly the fronts parts of the class is eager to parcipate to the activity but the rest is being naugty and noisy. So she cannot have the chance to get feedback from the students about if the fluency or acuuracy is developing or not.

There is mostly spoken  activities by the teacher. She tries to make students articulate the sounds correctly if they want to participate. She checks the homeworks about accuracy in the written form.

The accuracy practice activities motivate learners to be accurate because they are young learners and they want to pleasure the teacher.Teacher let students to speak or repeat the word that she taught.

One of the activities that tecaher made was the color and trace activity. In this activity, students learn the words, how they are written by tracing. This is good for accuracy oriented activities in the written form.

Another activity was flashcards. In this activity,by repeating the numbers that they have learnt together is an example for fluency oriented in the spoken form.

I like the activities because they were suitable for the students level and interest. There is not a part that we would like to change.
